Is there a purchase limit?

At Cannabis Spot, you’re allowed to purchase up to 30 grams of cannabis, or its equivalent in extract, edible, or topical form, in one transaction. This limit aligns with the legal public possession threshold, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Do you have weekly deals?

Absolutely! Both of our stores feature weekly deals, giving our cherished customers the opportunity to explore premium products. We strategically lower the prices on select high-quality items, rotating between various products like gummies, chocolates, pre-rolls, flower, and vape cartridges to offer a diverse, cost-effective experience each week.

Can I shop online?

Certainly! You can conveniently place your order online for in-store pickup. Explore our offerings and request your products at our North Shop and South Shop.

Is an ID required to purchase Cannabis?

If you appear under the age of 25, we’ll request ID verification to ensure legal compliance. Minors, even if accompanied by an adult, are not permitted on the premises of Cannabis Spot.

Is public cannabis consumption allowed?

The regulations surrounding public cannabis consumption are determined by individual provinces and municipalities. We recommend referring to your provincial government’s website to familiarize yourself with the specific bylaws applicable in your area.

Here’s a quick guide to get started.

Is cannabis delivery available?

Currently, we do not offer delivery services.

What does click-and-collect mean?

Click-and-Collect allows customers to order cannabis products online and pick them up in-store, offering a convenient shopping experience. In Alberta, this currently stands as the exclusive method for “online ordering” of cannabis products.

How can I unclog my vape?

If your vape cartridge is clogged, a helpful tip is to place it in a small plastic bag and then into warm water. Warming it up can reduce the cartridge’s viscosity, making it easier to unclog and pull.

What's your return policy?

We strive for your complete satisfaction at Cannabis Spot. For accessories, we stock items backed by reliable warranties and trusted by our team. Should you need assistance connecting with the manufacturer for warranty claims, we’re here to facilitate the process.

For our cannabis products, we accept returns when a clear defect is identified, provided it’s within a reasonable timeframe. We maintain an ongoing dialogue with our Licensed Producers, ensuring feedback on quality is communicated and addressed. Your satisfaction and safety are our top priorities.

Why aren’t 100mg edibles available?

Edible products are federally regulated to contain a maximum of 10 mg of THC per serving to ensure consistency and safety in dosage. If you’ve come across edibles offering more than this limit, they likely weren’t sold by a licensed retailer, putting their potency and safety into question. By choosing Cannabis Spot, a locally licensed store, you’re guaranteed accurate and regulated THC content in every purchase.

Can I repurchase the same product?

The availability often varies. Our stock is dependent on the selections made by AGLC buyers. Craft products can be particularly challenging to secure due to limited grow spaces, leading to availability gaps until the next harvest. AGLC’s choice to restock a product is also influenced by its sales velocity.

What distinguishes THC from CBD?

THC and CBD, both prominent cannabinoids found in cannabis, have distinct properties and effects. THC is known for inducing the psychoactive experiences typically associated with cannabis. In contrast, CBD doesn’t produce an intoxicating effect.

CBD is particularly popular for its potential therapeutic benefits without the “high.” It can also mitigate some of THC’s psychoactive effects, offering a balanced, milder experience when both are present in a product.

While CBD doesn’t intoxicate, in significant doses, it can induce a state of deep relaxation and clarity, akin to the serenity experienced after a soothing bath.

For personalized advice on THC and CBD consumption, we recommend consulting with your doctor to ensure a safe and beneficial experience.

Varied prices for same strain?

The price variance for identical strains stems from the diverse cultivation and processing practices employed by different producers. Some dedicate additional time and effort into enhanced cultivation techniques, like sun-grown cultivation, organic farming, hand trimming, or small-batch growing. Such meticulous care often aligns with craft growers and results in a premium price, reflecting the enhanced quality and craftsmanship offered at Cannabis Spot.

What should I do if I green out?

We recommend to begin with a modest dose and gradually increase as needed. In the event of a green out, remember to stay calm – it’s a temporary sensation.

If it occurs, chewing on a black peppercorn can help alleviate the intensity. It’s a common experience and though unsettling, rest assured it will pass in time. Your well-being is our utmost priority at Cannabis Spot.

Can I drive with Cannabis?

Within Canada, cannabis can be transported in vehicles if it is secured in closed packaging and inaccessible to the driver and passengers.

It’s unlawful to consume cannabis in any motor vehicle, the only exception being temporary residences like parked RVs.
